Meet Harlow - RETIRED

When you visit our office, chances are you will be greeted by our resident dog, Harlow! Harlow has been with the clinic since its inception, and is quite literally the heart and soul of why Dorset Pier offers animal therapy.

At 8 weeks old, Harlow went home with our owner, Danielle, who immediately knew she was special. Harlow is often referred to as a “unicorn dog” by her handler, Abby, because she has both the therapeutic qualities and the desire and drive to work (in things such as rally and trick training).

For the last few years, Harlow has diligently stood by Danielle through all of the transitions that have occurred both at the clinic and in her personal life. Harlow has touched the lives of so many people, and will always be a part of our clinic.

However, Harlow has also shown us that she is ready to focus more on the other things that she loves: competing in competitions, learning tricks and using her strong work drive for more active endeavours. As such, Harlow is officially RETIRED from active counselling services - but she will still be at the office frequently, and would still welcome a cuddle and a treat, any time!
